Radio Frequency

"Wow... so refreshing to hear Andrew speak with a passion about what he believes in...and very entertaining too!"

What is Radio Frequency?

Radio Frequency (RF) energy uses the tissue's resistance within the various layers of the skin to transform the RF energy given to the skin into thermal energy (heat)

Many considerations are required for there to be successful transfer of the RF energy into thermal energy, including the size and depth of the tissue being treated

Since RF energy produces an electrical current instead of a light source, tissue damage can be minimised and epidermal melanin is also not damaged

RF energies can be used for patients of all skin types – that is, it is colour blind and allows for different depths of penetration based on what is to be treated, allowing for ultimate collagen contraction and production of new collagen

The contact points can change from Positive to Negative up to 800,000 times a second

The Positively charged ions in the water molecules within your cells, try to line up with the negative poles

This causes the water molecules to crash back and forth against each other, generating heat between them

The heat causes the skin tissue to begin shrinking. This stimulates the remodelling of collagen cells

As human beings are charged positively, the heat deep in the skin contracts and strengthens the collagen bonds, as well as producing more collagen

RF is a treatment that delivers gentle heat, deep into the dermis for maximum results.

This course is online only. This is due to our non-biased approach. But it will give you all the tools you need to make the right decision when choosing the right device (who will do brand training anyway) or if you are already using RF, this will give you more confidence when doing them

Webinar Contains:

  • What is Radio Frequency?
  • Skin anatomy
  • Collogenesis
  • The Blood circulatory system
  • Ageing skin
  • How does Radio Frequency work on the skin?
  • Benefits of RF
  • Which areas can be treated?
